Swift Canoes in the UK https://trippingcanoes.singleblade.co.uk/2014/01/12/hello-world/ Sun, 12 Jan 2014 13:41:26 +0000 http://trippingcanoes.singleblade.co.uk/?p=1 From Easter, a demo fleet of Swift Canoes will be available within the UK.

In a notable “first” for the UK, Wilderness-Canoe.co.uk will be providing fully outfitted guiding and coaching using demo fleet – most commonly the Keewaydin 16, Keewaydin 17, Kipawa and Winisk.  At last, canoeists can actually put outstanding tripping canoes through their paces in meaningful contexts (including on extended expeditions) without committing to a purchase!

Alongside this, SingleBlade will be making a fleet  available: most commonly the composite Dumoine tandem, Osprey solo and Keewaydin 15 solo… though the new Keewaydin 14 (which isn’t even available in Canada yet) should available in the UK later in 2014.

The two fleets will be teamed up at major events.  Availability will be an option, by arrangement, at selected Open Canoe Association meets and Open Canoe Sailing Group meets: let us know your options, and we’ll see what we can do!
